About the Role
QON is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with a specialized focus on the Middle East and Gulf State markets to join our elite private asset management team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of regional investment opportunities, macroeconomic trends, and financial regulations across the GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman).
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, evaluating investment opportunities, and providing strategic financial insights for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients looking to expand or optimize their investment portfolios in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis
Conduct detailed economic, industry, and financial research to assess investment prospects within the Middle East and Gulf region -
Investment Strategy Development
Identify high-value opportunities in equities, fixed income, private equity, infrastructure, and alternative investments relevant to Middle Eastern markets. -
Risk Assessment & Portfolio Optimization
Evaluate geopolitical, financial, and currency risks, ensuring optimal asset allocation and diversification strategies. -
Financial Modeling & Valuation
Develop sophisticated financial models to support investment decision-making, risk assessment, and portfolio structuring. -
Client Advisory Support
Provide research-backed insights and investment recommendations to high-net-worth clients and institutional partners. -
Regulatory & Compliance Insight
Stay abreast of regional financial regulations, tax implications, and cross-border investment frameworks affecting capital movement into and out of the Middle East. -
Collaboration with Global Teams
Work closely with portfolio managers, investment advisors, and external partners to enhance investment solutions tailored for Middle Eastern investors.
Requirements & Qualifications

Educational Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management, or related field. CFA certification is a strong plus. -
Professional Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in investment analysis, asset management, or financial research, with a proven focus on the Middle East and Gulf region. -
Market Expertise
Strong understanding of regional economic drivers, investment vehicles, financial regulations, and sovereign wealth fund strategies. -
Analytical Skills
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative investment analysis. -
Language Skills
Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus. -
Tech-Savviness
Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, and financial analysis software. -
Strategic Mindset
Ability to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities that align with client objectives. -
International Exposure
Experience working with global investment firms or financial institutions focusing on Middle Eastern markets is highly desirable.
